GM businesses encouraged to enter Chamber Awards
Date published: 19 March 2008
The British Chambers of Commerce is encouraging Greater Manchester businesses to enter this year’s Chamber Awards.
Now in their fifth year, the awards recognize outstanding business achievement. The top prize of £50,000 will be awarded to the company that the judges agree should win the overall Award for Outstanding Business Achievement and will be announced along with the national winners at the Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony on 27th November 2008 at the Natural History Museum in London.
Last year four members of Greater Manchester Chamber came top in the North West section of the awards. Dr Moneeb Awan of Salford-based IT services company eSAY Solutions was named Entrepreneur of the year. Alderley Edge-based telecommunications company Chess won the award for Performance Through People, Tameside-based Brother UK won the Green Award and Bolton-based 10ticks.co.uk won the award for the Impact of Technology on Business.
The awards are open to all businesses. Entry forms and judging criteria can be obtained by visiting:
