Anthony Rudman attended Todrmorden High School; he is keen to become a qualified technician and started doing work experience to help him along the way.
Dave Ruston from Lake Garage, said: “I recognise when a young person wants to learn and Anthony has certainly demonstrated the right attitude during his time here.
“The benefit of recruiting young people is that they are quick to pick up on the new technology that is paramount in the motor industry today.
“By bringing people through the ranks we get long serving and loyal employees and the young people get a good job, training and security”.
Mr Rudman will work at the garage four days a week and attend day release at Hopwood Hall College.
