Early morning start for Middleton business owners

A new networking group launched in Middleton on Wednesday (29 June) at the Wilton Arms on Manchester Old Road.

Network 13 is a like-minded group of business people who meet informally for breakfast once every two weeks. After Breakfast there is an opportunity to meet with members of the group to have a more detailed conversation in the three 10 minute 1-2-1s.

The Purpose of Network 13 is to gain more business and contacts in an encouraging and fun environment.

Network13 was the brainchild of John Nicholson and Paul McGouran who have already launched groups in Stockport, Manchester Airport and Warrington and will be expanding across the northwest in the coming months.

The Group is hosted by local business woman Lucy Parker, she said: “I am very pleased with the turn-out; it’s great to see local businesses pulling together in these tough economic times.

"Network13 is a fantastic place to meet with other local business owners, not only to increase business but also to build your list of contacts.

"I look forward to welcoming all local businesses owners to future meetings, in particular those who have not tried networking before.”
