Regenda takes property services in-house

Date published: 17 May 2011

North West housing provider Regenda has taken its property management services in-house, launching a new team to manage the 13,000 houses within its stock portfolio.

The new property services team will be responsible for profiling the condition of Regenda’s properties and ensuring that risk is managed effectively. This includes providing in-house water hygiene surveys, fire risk assessments, stock condition surveys and checking compliance with disability legislation.

Chris Dale, Head of Property Services explained, “Previously these services were provided by external consultants.

“The new team brings together a broad range of experience from within the department which was previously under utilised.

“Staff are now undergoing development and training so that we can provide the full range of services in-house.

“The savings this generates will be reinvested in our stock and we anticipate an increase in resident satisfaction and improved efficiency.”
