£11.6m contract for police station refurb

Greater Manchester Police has awarded Mansell an £11.6 million contract to refurbish its Divisional Headquarters in Rochdale.
The refurbishment and remodelling contract will take place whilst the building remains occupied to suit the police forces operational requirements.
The development will have a new entrance, glazed atrium and all areas of the building will be fitted-out to include open plan offices, meeting places and social areas with kitchens.
The project is expected to achieve a BREEAM “Very Good” rating.
This is the fifth scheme Greater Manchester Police has awarded to Mansell.
