Breakfast seminar with a difference

Date published: 28 June 2006

A breakfast seminar with a difference is being held at the Bella Vista Restaurant on 6 July. Aimed at Managing Directors, Directors and Chief Executive Officers, the seminar uses drama and actors to bring to life the more difficult to manage situations that they may face.

The organisers promise no role play, but a fantastic opportunity to get to the hub of some very tricky situations that executives may be experiencing in the work place.

Karen Hughes, Director of Business Development at organisers Sage Green explained: "We are piloting this free seminar in Rochdale aimed at MD’s, Directors and CEO’s.

"The practical reality is not just about having policies and procedural frameworks in place, but what you need to do to manage difficult workplace situations effectively and efficiently. What you really need is down to earth practical help.

"Experience shows that the most costly mistakes are down to human fallibility – so often when faced with delicate and sensitive situations ‘good practice’ goes out the window  and current legislation can create liabilities even when you are genuinely trying to do the right thing.

"If you are a busy senior executive with people problems, this is an invitation to a seminar that you cannot afford to miss!"
