Rochdale is first for 24Mb Zen Broadband

Date published: 05 July 2006

Zen Internet, are giving people in Rochdale the first chance to receive their new super fast broadband internet services.

Zen’s new cutting edge range of products for Rochdale fuse together the benefits of Zen’s multi-award winning broadband service with the latest technology to deliver three new ultra high speed broadband packages to customers.

The new packages offer speeds of up to 24Mb which is around 400 times faster than standard dial-up services and up to three times faster than other broadband providers.

Zen decided Rochdale businesses and home users should be the first to benefit from these new services because of the support local people have shown throughout its history.

David Barber, Broadband Commercial Manager commented: “Zen has been based in Rochdale throughout our 10 year history and now has three sites here which host not only our Technical Support and Customer Service staff but also some of our Core Networking equipment. We are also in the process of constructing our new £50M HQ based on the new Kingsway development. We believe that continued investment in the local community is vital in Rochdale as it helps to cement its future.”
