Free seminars to help local businesses

As part of their year-long 40th Anniversary celebrations, Rochdale Training are hosting a series of free business seminars in Rochdale beginning in September ands running through the Autumn, in line with their continuing plan to support the economic and business needs of the local community.

The seminars will be presented by independent specialists in each field and will cover the most important business topics such as aspects of Marketing amp; Promotion, Sales amp; Sales Force Management, Financial Management and Debt Collection, HR, Personnel amp; Employment issues, Health amp; Safety and Risk Assessments, Exporting amp; International Business, and Internet Marketing in conjunction with new partner Rochdale Online.

All seminars will take place at 8am on a Friday morning at Rochdale Training’s premises in Fishwick Street, close to the town centre between the roads to Milnrow and Royton. Free refreshments will be served and the seminars will last about one hour with plenty of time for questions and networking with other local businesses.

Rochdale Training provides many government-funded training courses free to employers and employees. Apprenticeships and NVQ qualifications are available in engineering, business administration, customer service, IT and warehousing amp; distribution. In addition, Rochdale Training offers a whole range of business development services such as Leadership amp; Management, Electrical Training, Health amp; Safety and Quality Assurance. Courses are held at the centre in Rochdale, at companies’ own premises or at convenient locations. All training is customised to individual company needs and enquiries from any company, large or small, are welcomed.
