Glass Eye Productions heads for the Big Apple

Rochdale based film producers, Glass Eye Productions, are heading to the Big Apple to attend premieres and parties as one of their films is to be shown at the New York International Film amp; Video Festival.

The film, entitled 'Long Dream', is a short horror film depicting a girl who stumbles upon strange frequencies when she picks up a radio from the local second hand emporium.

The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) is the largest film festival in the world. Founded in 1993, the NYIIFVF has been recognised by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the independent festival circuit.

Past NYIIFVF festivals have included the work of Abel Ferrara, Andy Garcia, Calista Flockhart, Selma Blair, Ewan McGregor, Dominique Swain, Busy Phillips, Cameron Diaz, Christopher Walken, Daryl Hannah, Eva Herzigova, Guy Pearce, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Modine, Rod Steiger, Tippi Hedren, Tony Danza, Willem Dafoe and Executive Producer Vin Diesel.

The NYIIFVF is a competitive event and is dedicated to making things happen for emerging filmmakers and screenwriters.
