Business Dispute Survey Report

Date published: 15 November 2006

If you are a business owner or senior manager/director, you will not be surprised to find out that 68 per cent of businesses in the North West reported a rise in the number of disputes they have faced in the past three years.

Litigation culture is on the rise and businesses need to be prepared, especially considering that over 50 per cent of the businesses who had been involved in the dispute did not anticipate it.

If you have been involved in a business dispute involving a party connected to the business such as a partner/shareholder or employee, a third party, such as a customer or supplier, or a regulatory body, such as the health and safety executive or trading standards then Chamber member JMW would like to hear from you. Please contact Tony Winterburn, Partner and Head of Commercial Services on 0161 828 1875 or email him at tony.winterburn@jmw.co.uk

If you want to understand the types of legal threats facing your business, then this survey should be essential reading for you. For your complimentary copy please click on the link below
