The Community Foundation, Manchester’s grant giving charity, has welcomed The Casey Group, one of the North West’s most innovative developers, as a new business partner in its list of Founder Keyholder supporters.

The Casey Group which has its head office in Rochdale, has given its backing to the Community Foundation as an extension of their of the company’s philosophy of concern for the communities in which it develops, regenerates and modernises.

Peter Casey, Chairman of the Casey Group comments: “Our business has worked to be part of the local communities in which we operate for the last 40 years. We  have close links with schools and regularly support local sports groups, especially those working with children. This new partnership with the Community Foundation looks to further our work in this area. By working with the Foundation we are working with the experts in local grant making, to ensure that money reaches the right places in our local areas.”

Nick Massey, Chief Executive of The Community Foundation comments: “We are delighted to welcome the Casey Group to our growing list of Founder Keyholders. This kind of commitment will make a massive difference at grass roots level across Greater Manchester. This is a great example of a local business recognising the value in giving local charitable donations in this way, and we hope to see lots more businesses follow suit.”
