Littleborough cable installers get top recognition

Dave Webb is presented with one of the certificates by Wynn Walker.
Littleborough based structured cable installers Webb's Support Services Ltd has been awarded three specialist business certifications.
The company was given ISO certifications 9001, 14001 and OHSAS certification 18001 following independent assessments into its copper and fibre optic cabling solutions.
The 9001 certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses, while the two latter certifications have been achieved by less than 1%.
The awards are supported by the Government and are recognised worldwide.
Dave Webb, Managing Director, said: "We have always been proud of the services we offer our clients and the way we conduct our business including the importance we give to such matters as Occupational Health and Safety and the environment. Now with the award of both ISO and OHSAS certifications, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries."
Wynn Walker, who undertook the assessment for QMS Quality Management Systems, paid particular tribute to "the investment in people and training that enables Webb’s Support Services Ltd. to provide an efficient service to their customers".
The Littleborough business was started by David Webb in 2007 and now carries out works across the UK, with five internal staff and 20 engineers in the field.
