Bike dealer wins MotoGP weekend

The owner of a Suzuki motorcycle and scooter dealership in Rochdale is celebrating after winning a VIP holiday to the Portuguese round of this year's MotoGP championship.

Stuart Phethean, 48, who runs the All Bikes dealership, was the winner of this year's Swinton Bikes dealer referral scheme competition.

Stuart and his wife Jill will fly out to Portugal in October and spend three nights in a 4-star hotel near the Estoril circuit, taking in the qualifying rounds as well as the Race Day itself.

Stuart said: "I'm a huge fan of the Moto GP and it's very exciting to get the chance to fly to Portugal to watch the race. I always make sure I watch the Moto GP on television; I can't believe that this year I'll be there in person! To win this competition on top of the money we've made through the Swinton Bikes referral scheme is great - and my wife and I can't wait to get some autumn sun!"
