Yorkshire Building Society moves into Norden

Date published: 08 September 2009

Norden residents no longer need to go into Rochdale Town Centre to fulfil their banking needs.

Yorkshire Building Society has teamed up with Norden and Bamford Financial Services to provide a new agency office on Edenfield Road.

The new branch is hosting an open day on Friday 18 September. Existing customers and members of the public are invited to the official open day between 11am and 6pm. Refreshments will be served all day long with a prize draw to win a meal for two at the exclusive Nutters restaurant.

Richard Martin from Norden and Bamford Financial Services said: “We’re looking forward to becoming the latest addition to Yorkshire Building Society’s agency network and to ensuring a firm mutual presence will remain in Norden. Our new agency will provide a wide range of Yorkshire’s competitive services and products and we hope our existing customers and local residents will call in to join us for a cup of Yorkshire tea to celebrate our continuing future as a building society agency.”

Liz Morelli, Yorkshire’s Agency Sales Manager said: “When considering financial products many people value professional advice face to face, which is why we consider a high street presence as important as telephone and internet channels. The new office in Norden will improve the service we offer to our existing customers who live in the area and will enable others to benefit from our competitive range of products.”
