Tell the Council what you think!

Date published: 01 September 2009

The Recession Unit at Rochdale Borough Council are looking for views as to what are the most appropriate methods of support that the Council could give during and following the recession.

Still in the early stages of development, initial ideas have included the possibility of utilising the empty properties within the town centre into either single or multiple startup ventures.

This is a real opportunity to be able to input directly into the Council’s strategy by telling them what you believe businesses need to support them both.

The Council initiatives already in place include: free Business Support Sessions, 10 day invoice payments, ‘Free after 3’ parking and promotion of business rate relief.
