Castleton residents can now get their computer's repaired when they go to buy some stamps.
Local computer superstore PC Comms have moved into Castleton Post Office in the hope of tapping into a busy passing trade as people drop off their letters and parcels.
PC Comms have been trading for three years and recently moved into the Post Office on Manchester Road from their store on Milkstone Road.
PC Comms manager Mohammed Hanif said things had gone a bit stale at the Milkstone Road store and a move into bustling Castleton was just what the team was looking for. "We wanted to boost awareness among the public about what we do and now people can see what we have in stock just by visiting the Post Office and we can talk about what we can do for them. It's an ideal location on the main road."
Mr Hanif, 31, earned a degree in Computer and Network Engineering and started PC Comms three years ago. "I got my degree so I thought why not open a PC and computer repair store? Now we want to build up the business and we hope that more people will start using us now that we are here."
Mr Hanif is joined at PC Comms by Stephen McLean, a technician, and Jamie Butterworth, who focuses on computer repairs.
