With the aid of her Rochdale Online business web page, local businesswoman Jennifer Shaw is enjoying continued success with her event hosting company 'Jennifer Shaw Events'. Ms Shaw will be hosting three high profile events in the near future, as well as regularly planning and providing entertainment for special events such as charity events, corporate events and weddings.
The Rochdale based company has recently enjoyed organising the successful Theatre Tour of 'A Bit o' Lanky Panky', starring Buzz Hawkins, of popular radio show 'The Bradshaws' fame, and comedian Venn Tracey. Jennifer Shaw Events put months of hard work into planning and promoting the tour and tickets still remain for the show's final date, this Saturday 23 June at The Riverside theatre in Whitworth.
Members of the public that have attended one of the show's previous four dates have been raving about the production. Ali Bishop from Blackburn said: "I saw "A Bit o' Lanky Panky" at the Saddleworth Players' Theatre in Delph and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great and there wasn't a dry-eye or empty seat in the house."
Mr T Crollas of Uppermill commented that the show was 'fantastic'! He said: "I can’t remember when I last woke up with an aching face and stomach through all the laughing - the audience loved it!"
Jennifer Shaw Events' success has been aided by having a web page on Rochdale Online. Her page tells prospective customers all they need to know about the company, as well as supplying information about all upcoming events. Jennifer Shaw started the web page in February 2007 and since then it has gained nearly 1000 page views, at an average of 52 per week.
Ms Shaw said: "My Rochdale Online web page has been very useful and has aided in my business development. The page links to my main web site and has encouraged more visitors to my site. All of the vital information is on my web page; it has been a good tool for me."
Rochdale Online business executive Veronica McKay commented on the reasons why the Jennifer Shaw Events web page has been so successful. She said: "Jennifer has used her Rochdale Online web page to great effect, updating the page almost daily. This is a first class example of what one can do with a Rochdale Online web page."
