Supply company plans Rochdale expansion

International company C.R. Laurence Ltd, a global supplier to the glazing, railing, architectural, construction, industrial, and automotive industries, has acquired Rochdale based Ebor Group Holdings Ltd.
CRL has announced that all 55 members of Ebor staff will remain in their jobs.
In making the announcement, Donald E. Friese, CEO of CRL, said: “Ebor was founded in 1981 by Stephen Boocock and three partners, and has grown to be a well known supplier of accessories, tools and machinery to the glazing and stone industries throughout the UK.
“We are very proud of the fact that all 55 employees of Ebor will be staying on, including all four directors; Stephen Boocock, Managing Director; Jonathan Whiteley, Financial Director; Simon Boocock, Sales Director of Glazing Accessories and Eurofit; and David Beckett, Sales Director of CaesarStone and Stone Accessories.”
As part of the takeover, ERL are set to begin construction on a 7,000 square metre facility, which is scheduled for completion early next year. This facility will be in addition to the existing Ebor on the Trans-Pennine Trading Estate on Gorrels Way.
