The Prowess team visited offices in the New Year to meet with WEI staff and Network Committee members.
The Prowess Flagship Award is a best practice quality standard for excellence in women’s enterprise development and is a nationally and internationally recognised quality mark that has been achieved by organisations all over the UK.
The Network delegates will receive the award at the Prowess Annual Conference in Blackpool in March.
Network members Tina Wright and Gill Elsworth of Training and Consultancy Initiatives Ltd will be visiting the conference and leading a workshop at the event entitled “Equal Access: supporting disabled people into self-employment.”
Their workshop will assist delegates to tackle the barriers to self-employment for disabled people and enable participants to be more confident in supporting this client group.
Prowess is the UK association of organisations and individuals who support women to start and grow businesses. They raise awareness and provide capacity building support to organisations which provide enterprise support.
