Business support from Chamber of Commerce

Date published: 09 October 2007

Did you know there has been a Chamber of Commerce in Rochdale for over 50 years? Over the years it has developed and improved and is now part of the largest Chamber in the country – Greater Manchester Chamber.

Policy Manager, Carol Hopkins, is based in Molesworths Bright Clegg Solicitors on Yorkshire Street, and the current President, Tony Nugent, of Anthony K Associates in Middleton.

The Chamber know that running a business brings with it a series of challenges, and through the Chamber's partnership with Manchester Solutions, they are able to offer high quality business support, training and recruitment services.

Whether it’s business support, training opportunities or recruitment services, the Chamber have someone on hand who will be able to help you save time and money. Many of these services are available at a discounted rate to Chamber
members.

The Chamber supports local businesses in a variety of ways, working with partners such as the Town Centre Management
Company, to ensure the business voice is heard. We also work with the Council and Rochdale Development Agency, to ensure that any plans for the town centre are consulted on, and that businesses have their say.
