Rochdale CEO is finalist in the National Business Awards

Rochdale businessman Zulf Ali, the Chief Executive Officer of Celltek Communications, has been announced as a finalist in the ‘Credit Suisse Entrepreneur of the Year’ category of the Orange sponsored National Business Awards 2007.

To be short listed in the prestigious National Business Awards is recognition of Mr Ali demonstrating exceptional vision and leadership throughout the operation of the business.

Mr Ali is the co-founder of Celltek, an ICT company designing and delivering innovative technology solutions. Specialising in public sector programmes such as Building Schools for the Future, the corporate vision is to support the transformation of education through the innovative use of technology within the UK, working alongside the construction industry, creating inspirational learning environments that are the catalyst for change.

As the spear-head of the organisation, his management of the team has created a culture which thrives on innovation and excellence in all areas of business.

Mr Ali said: “It’s a great honour to be nominated for this award and I have deep gratitude for my team for their part in our success."

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 13 November.
