More Rochdale jobs to go as Flexitallic moves to Yorkshire
Date published: 11 December 2008
Gasket manufacturer Flexitallic is to consolidate its two exisiting sites in Rochdale and Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire into one site at Cleckheaton.
The Rochdale part of the operation, which comprises the research laboratory, as well as manufacturing, will move out during the early part of next year.
The company, which has operated in Rochdale since 1871, is moving due to continued growth and demand for its sealing products and gasketing materials and believe that the new purpose fitted premises in Cleckheaton will allow the company to continue to grow within its markets.
