Rochdale’s Zen Internet has been named North West Business of the Year in the 2008 British Chambers of Commerce Awards.
The judges were impressed by Zen’s entry and described the firm as having “strong values in quality and people, resulting in process management improvements and showing a strong customer loyalty and performance.”
Zen Internet will now go through to the national stage of the awards, where it will have the chance to win the top prize of £50,000, courtesy of Royal Bank of Scotland. The National Winners of the Chamber Awards will be announced at the Natural History Museum in London on 27 November.
Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Chamber, said: “Zen is a business that really stands out from the crowd. The competition was fierce. Making it to the shortlist is tough and winning is reserved for only the very best.”
