Kingsway Business Park infrastructure works
Date published: 28 September 2007
Phase One infrastructure works on Kingsway Business Park are nearing completion with the Spine Road currently expected to be finished and open for public use later this year. The modifications to Junction 21 of the M62 are also expected to be completed next month (October).
Construction of the first industrial buildings on Kingsway has now started on Plot E, with their completion expected by Spring 2008. These will be the first occupied buildings and will deliver a range of jobs. Upon completion of these units, it is expected that an event will be hosted for regional property agents to showcase these buildings.
A contract for the Phase Two infrastructure works has been awarded shortly, these works commenced this month (September) and are expected to last approximately 12 months. These will include the extension of the southern loop road through to the spine road, part of the northern loop road, the northern drainage lagoon, and the demolition of the former Vitaluxan factory on Lower Lane.
