Busy Beans wins second Good Food award

Date published: 08 November 2022

Independent coffee house Busy Beans Coffee has won its second Good Food award.

The Littleborough business, run by husband and wife team Becky and Danny O’Neill, is the only local eatery to win a 2023 Good Food Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes this year after being voted for by members of the public.

The award-winning coffee house is one of over 160 winners of the coveted award in the café, bistro, sandwich shop, coffee house and tea room category.

Busy Beans originated as a mobile coffee bar frequenting major events in the borough, before the O’Neills branched out into their first bricks and mortar coffee house on Victoria Street in November 2019.

They said: “Thank you so much to all our customers who voted for us again; we’re absolutely thrilled to have won another blue ribbon for the second year running – and on our shop’s third anniversary too!

“We’re delighted that our customers love Busy Beans as much as they do; this award is as much theirs as it is ours.”

In addition to coffee - which has previously won a Great Taste award - Busy Beans also serves shakes, hot chocolate, plus homemade cakes, bakes and brownies. You can also hire their mobile coffee cabin to cater for corporate events, onset/location filming, private celebrations and more.

The Good Food Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field. Chosen for their food quality, service and value, the prestigious awards are bestowed upon those with high customer ratings/votes and are known as the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.
