The new Screwfix
A new Screwfix store is opening at the Coldwall Industrial Estate - the former site of Dexine Rubber on Spotland Road - on Wednesday 14 September.
Rochdale-based developer Hallmark Developments has agreed a 15-year lease with Screwfix, which is part of the multinational Kingfisher Group PLC, whose brands also include B&Q.
Christopher Grieves, managing director of Hallmark, said: “Screwfix is one of the UKs fastest growing companies and the UKs largest multi channel retailer of trade tools and accessories.
“Hallmark is very proud to welcome them at the Coldwall Industrial Estate.
“This is a major boost for our recent industrial development and will provide new jobs for the local economy.”
