The Rochdale Travelodge at Sandbrook Park
The Rochdale Travelodge at Sandbrook Park has officially opened, and will be able to take bookings from 17 May.
Creating 15 new jobs, the purpose built hotel features 66 rooms and offers on-site car-parking.
Rochdale Travelodge is managed by Hannah Whittle, who started working at the company three years ago as a part-time supervisor in Oldham.
Hannah Whittle, Hotel Manager, Rochdale Travelodge, said: “It’s great to mark coming out of lockdown with the official opening of our first hotel in Rochdale. It has been very challenging opening a hotel in a pandemic but I am extremely proud to have built a fantastic team of local people.
“I received a record of number of applications and I was overwhelmed by the high calibre of applications received. We have been working around the clock to get the hotel open ahead of lockdown restrictions easing for leisure customers from 17 May 2021.”
Rochdale Travelodge is one of 17 hotels Travelodge is opening across the UK this year.
