The search is on to find the UK's best mid-market business

Local firms are being given until 7 December to put themselves forward for recognition. There are 15 awards up for grabs, including Retail Business of the Year, Online Business of the Year, Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Green Business of the Year. The overall winner will be chosen from the winners of each category to be announced at the T-Mobile Fast Growth Business of the Year Awards.

Organisers say that just by entering, businesses will boost the morale of your employees; the winners benefits are numerous: invaluable media coverage, prestige and recognition from peers, increased respect from existing customers, raisedr profile, ability to attract high quality staff and impress potential investorsand the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs at the awards.

Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Councillor Mohammed Sharif said: "The borough has a proud history of innovation. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate groundbreaking ideas and the individuals who drive them and I would strongly encourage local firms to put their names forward." 

Organised by Growing Business Magazine, the awards give well-deserved recognition to the UK's most successful companies and help raise awareness of their achievements.
