Supplementary Business Rates are coming

The Chancellor recently unveiled plans to introduce a business rate supplement of 2p in the pound - this will be extra to existing rate payments. However rather than imposing this on all businesses it will only affect those with a rateable value of more than £50,000. If you fall in this category Greater Manchester Chamber would like to hear from you and find out what impact this will have and your thoughts on the proposals.
The first supplements are pencilled in for 2010 however your views are crucial now in ensuring this system is fairly implemented and any extra funds are spent wisely.
