Thomas Cook in Middleton Shopping Centre has, once again, been awarded the much sought after accolade “Shop of the Year” for the second year in a row.
In the Manchester area, there are currently over thirty Thomas Cook branches so winning this prize twice is no mean feat.
Not only is the branch a winner, one member of the team - Paige Wakeman – has been awarded “customer hero for travel”. Paige has not only won this in the Manchester area but in the division, which has over 2,000 staff.
Additionally, Paige has been invited to attend a Thomas Cook Conference as she is also in the running to win the title “customer hero for travel” for the whole of Thomas Cook Retail.
“This is fantastic news for the branch of Thomas Cook in the Centre,” said Lynette Howgate, Manager of the Middleton Shopping Centre. “Our shoppers are obviously delighted with the excellent service the team supply and we congratulate them on their success."
