CockaDoodleMoo launched a new cocktail bar in Rochdale town centre on Friday.
Guests received a complimentary drink on arrival with a choice of spirits, beer, wine or prosecco as well as complimentary canapés containing sesame chicken, pulled pork sliders, mini chicken burgers and bruschetta.
A cocktail masterclass was held and demonstrated to attendees how to produce the perfect combination of drinks.
Speaking on the businesses new venture, Hayley Bee, general manager of CockaDoodleMoo Rochdale, said: “We decided to launch this cocktail bar because we wanted to bring a new relaxed drinking venue to Rochdale.
“The town centre management are really pushing the ‘Alive after Five’ scheme and we wanted to just add another bar to the evening life in the town, offering a chilled out vibe.
“We are planning on having the bar open on Fridays and Saturdays until late but if the demand is there then we will open it more often, especially over the Christmas period.
“We are also planning on holding private cocktail masterclasses, a mini Christmas market and themed parties. We want to make use of the space that we have as most people forget that we have an additional bar in the restaurant.
“We opened in November 2015 and since then we have witnessed the town go through a lot of development.
“Our aim is to bring the Northern Quarter to the town centre; building Rochdale into a great night out.”
Cocktails include Gin and Jam, Bounty Paradise, Chocolate Orange and the Boozy Pig – made with real maple roasted bacon. Mocktails are also available, as well as a brand new range of exotic beers.
The cocktail bar will be open at the restaurant every Friday and Saturday from 5.00pm till 11.00pm.
