American Express opening new office for Greater Manchester

American Express is opening of a new office in Manchester’s city centre.
The office will act as a small business services hub for Manchester and the North-West, and will focus on sales of the company’s business cards and broader payment solutions - a range of products designed with the payment needs of small and medium sized businesses in mind.
Located at No 1 Spinningfields in the heart of Manchester’s financial centre, the opening has created 25 new jobs, including 18 dedicated sales roles.
Colin O'Flaherty, Vice President and General Manager Global Commercial Services UK at American Express, said: “We are excited to be expanding our UK presence with what will be our first dedicated small business services hub for Manchester and the North-West.
"We look forward to opening our doors, getting to meet the area’s business owners face to face and being an active member of the business community.”
