Jamie Waldron, of Expert Electrical Supplies, has donated a printer and electrical items to the Limes Housing charity.
The Limes Housing Supported Living was founded in 2015 and aims to help the most vulnerable people in Rochdale’s society.
This ranges from individuals who have been subjected to drug and alcohol abuse as well as those who have found themselves in unfortunate situations and fallen homeless, sometimes through no fault of their own.
Limes Housing supplies a sheltered home where up 12 residents can stay at any one given time in hopes of improving their quality of life and to be totally abstinent from drugs or alcohol.
The charity has received a lot of support from the local community and food for the residents is often donated from companies such as Tesco, Greggs and Morrisons. This enables them to spend whatever little cash they have on other essentials.
Gemma, the charities lead co-ordinator, said: “We are overwhelmed at the help we have received from our donators so far and are excited at the prospect of putting Limes Housing on the map as a Rochdale charity to be proud of.’’
