Erica, Steve and Chris Hudspith show off their new business
Plumbworks has set up in Globe Business Park hoping to make a splash with those who need a plumber or new bathroom.
Owners the Hudspith family previously ran S H Gascare, which provided heating engineers and plumbing services.
The team decided to grow their business and start selling bathrooms alongside plumbing services, so customers have a one-stop shop. The company also sells parts and counts tradesmen among its clientele.
Steve Hudspith said: “It is a really exciting time for our business and we wanted to stay in Rochdale as we grew because it’s a great location. We are really close to the motorway networks and the people are fantastic.”
Leader of Rochdale Borough Council, Councillor Richard Farnell, said: “It is great to see this family firm going strong. Their showroom looks the business and I am sure new customers will soon come flooding in.”
