Business fair for private residential landlords

Date published: 07 July 2008

Residential landlords are being invited to attend a business fair in Middleton on Wednesday (9 July) to get best practice advice on how they can ride the credit crunch and get more information which will help meet their current letting needs.

Taking place at the Lancashire Health and Racquet Club from 6.30pm, the Rochdale Council event will host a number of exhibitors from which landlords can get advice on issues including buy-to-let mortgages, home information packs, insurance and security, as well as picking up useful tips from accredited letting agents, solicitors and landlord associations.

Paul Gordziejewic, Private Sector Housing Manager at Rochdale Council, said: “In the current financial climate, landlords are looking at best value for all aspects of letting - whether this is for repair issues and contractors to looking for the best value mortgages.

“By offering a one-stop-shop service with a number of exhibitors, we believe the event will cater for all landlord needs under one roof.”
