Council Leader Richard Farnell at the new micro business units
Forty new micro units to house new small firms have now been completed, with some already let to companies.
The move is designed to give local businesses a helping hand in their early years of trading, because it is normally during this time that they can struggle with costs.
Council leader Richard Farnell explained: “Setting up a new business is always stressful, so we explored ways we could support fledgling firms in this crucial period.
“I am convinced it will prove a success and a good lift up as they grown their company.”
