Rochdale Training – 50th birthday celebration party

Rochdale Training Association is 50 years old this year and to celebrate employees, employers and apprentices held a 1960s themed party at the training centre on Fishwick Street, Rochdale.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Mohammed Zaman, Leader of Rochdale Council, Councillor Richard Farrell and Rochdale MP Tony Lloyd.
Jill Nagy, chief executive of Rochdale Training, said: “We have had many successes over 50 years.
"We are especially proud of our 83% apprenticeship success rates with overall Ofsted rating of 'good' and 'outstanding' for teaching and learning.
"Although we have come a long way, our values have remained the same, that is putting the learners first, meeting employers needs, professional but still personal with a desire to keep improving.
"Thank you to current employees, ex employees, our network of employers who support apprentices and our apprentices who are our ambassadors.
"Thank you everyone who has made Rochdale Training such a special place - here is to another 50 years.”
Rochdale Training provides apprenticeship training to employer’s across Greater Manchester. The team supports employers to recruit new apprentices and provide training to existing employees across the workforce.
