Kleeneze contract with OBS Logistics

Date published: 03 August 2017

Kleeneze has signed a new contract with OBS Logistics to utilise its warehouse management solution (WMS), CALIDUS, for the new warehouse in Heywood.

A spokesperson for Kleeneze said: “We considered lots of WMS solutions, from very small companies through to large providers but chose OBS logistics based on its long experience in WMS systems and positive feedback from the market.”

The CALIDUS WMS will provide Kleeneze, a subsidiary of JRJR Networks, with a warehouse software platform for future growth.

After receiving a £1.2m investment from Greater Manchester Combined Authority in January, Kleeneze opened a new warehousing and distribution centre in Heywood creating 100 new jobs in the Rochdale borough.

Kleeneze, a 94-year old direct sales organisation based in Accrington, sells and distributes a wide range of household and beauty products through an extensive network of independent sales distributors throughout Britain and Europe.

Now one of the leading network marketing companies in Europe, the company was started by Harry Crook in 1923. He made his brushes in a broom cupboard in Bristol, before introducing a range of high-quality polishes.

JRJR Networks is a market leader in global direct-to-consumer product distribution through its family of 10 businesses which operate in over 60 countries with over 70,000 sales associates around the world.
