Xhale, a new salon on Rooley Moor Road, was officially declared open by well known town centre hairdresser Greg Couzens on Tuesday (11 July).
Mr Couzens, who runs a popular salon on The Walk, said: “I applaud all new business ventures and no more than in the hair and beauty industry.
"I have the pleasure of officially opening Xhale on Rooley Moor Road. Its holistic approach offering treatments from head to toe is providing a unique service to combat the pressures of our hectic lifestyles, and I wish them all the very best in their first venture."
The salon, owned by Mandy Casey, offers a variety of services under one roof, including all aspects of hair and beauty to spray tans and nails, reiki and counselling.
The small business employs Jackie Lever and Rebecca Robertson with Paiige Fall on reception. Jackie holds a Level Three Diploma in hair and nails and a Level Two in barbering and beauty, and Rebecca is Level Three qualified in nails, and hair and spray tans.
Jackie said: “We had a great response on opening and we hope to have fun. Everyone is free to have a look at our offers or ask any questions.”
