STL Solutions of Kingsway new owners of Anker Systems

Date published: 09 April 2006

Rochdale based technology company STL Solutions is the new owner of the wholesale division of Anker Systems.

The Wholesale Division within Anker was no longer core to the previous owners, Torex Retail, business and so in order to maintain operational and service deliveries to this base the decision was taken to transfer of the business to new ownership. STL Solutions were the clear choice for this transfer as, headed up by Ivan Durkin, who was previously Managing Director of the Wholesale Division of Anker Systems, there was already firm relations in place between Ivan and the client base.

The transfer of this business means that STL Solutions now own Intellectual Property to the wholesale product set and so will take on all service for these solutions.

Commenting on the transfer Doug Hargrove Chief Operating Officer says, “STL Solutions have a dedicated personnel with many man years within the wholesale sector and it was apparent when the decision was taken for Torex Retail to move out of this sector that STL Solutions have the qualities and experience needed to be able to support the user base. We wish all at STL Solutions and the clients every success in the future in what we believe is the right move for all concerned.”

Ivan Durkin, Managing Director of STL Solutions concludes, “As part of growing the STL Solutions business we see this as a strategic purchase which will further enhance our position within the market that ultimately allows us to grow our presence. Having many years within the industry I feel that this is the catalyst for a very exciting phase for STL Solutions. Everyone at STL Solutions is looking forward to re-engaging with the client base to ensure that the service they receive is second to none.”
