Traffic questionnaire to identify Rochdale hotspots
Date published: 07 April 2006
Fed up of being stuck in traffic on the way to and from work each day? Help is at hand from Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
With traffic and travel congestion on the increase in and around Rochdale, the Chamber has launched a questionnaire to identify hotspots around the borough and will use the information to lobby the local council, MPs, transport companies and government departments to make things better.
Local policy manager, Carol Hopkins, said: “We want people to tell us about any hotspots in Rochdale, whether on the roads, public transport or even car parks.
“We will then be able to build up an accurate picture of what is actually going on and try to get Rochdale back on the move.”
Anyone interested in completing the questionnaire, can ring Carol on 07779 091307 or fill it in online by visiting the Chamber web site at www.gmchamber.co.uk
