Thieves stole £198,000 worth of camera equipment in Middleton

Thieves stole £198,000 worth of camera equipment from a business on Townley Street in Middleton.
The victim returned to his business on 4 May to find that thieves had broken in and stolen camera equipment, including video cameras, lighting panels, camera lenses, a tripod, and batteries.
The burglary happened between 9.30am on Monday 17 April and Thursday 4 May 2017.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the burglary or anyone who has been sold any camera equipment recently in the area to come forward.
Police Constable Kyle Chadwick, of GMP Rochdale Borough, said: “A man’s livelihood has been damaged because of these thieves and I urge you to get in touch if you have been offered or sold camera equipment in the area as you may be able to help us catch whoever did this.”
