Swansway Santa Patrol donating children’s Christmas presents

Local children have benefitted from gifts galore, donated by local company, Swansway Honda Rochdale, based on Queensway in the town.

The dealership has been on Santa Patrol donating children’s Christmas presents to Children’s’ Services at Rochdale Council.

Karen Wild, Service Advisor at Swansway Honda explained: “Each dealership in the Swansway Group chooses which children’s charities or group to donate their Santa Patrol presents too.”

“We know what a wonderful job the Children’s’ Services department of Rochdale Council does, supporting families and children, and we wanted to help them bring a little bit of Christmas magic into their lives.”

Santa Claus, who can be found moonlighting as Parts Supervisor at Swansway Honda, was delighted to be able to spread some festive spirit.

Delighted Helen Leach, who received the presents on behalf of Rochdale Children’s’ Services, added “We’re thrilled that Santa has given us such a wonderful selection of Christmas presents for the children we support. Christmas can be a very difficult time of year for our families, so I want to say a massive thank you to Swansway Honda Rochdale, you’ve no idea how much your gifts will be appreciated.”

The dealership team didn’t stop there, the aftersales department won an incentive which meant they had £300 of Love to Shop Vouchers to share. They chose not to keep them but to donate them to WHAG Women`s Housing Action Group, to give the women and their children a better Christmas.

Kirsty Rhodes, Managing Director of WHAG, was overjoyed, she said: “This is such an immensely kind gesture from the team, giving their prize to our families, along with some toys for the children we support. Thank you, your thoughtfulness means so much.”
