Date published: 01 September 2005

Jobseekers from in and around the Rochdale area will be packing into the Town Hall to meet local employers and apply for the hundreds of jobs on offer.  Hosted by Employment Links Partnership, in partnership with Job Centre Plus, the Annual Jobsfair has become the biggest Jobs/Careers Event in the Rochdale area.

Last year 1500 visitors attended on the day, and 24 local and national employers exhibited at the Jobsfair in order to fill a mixture of permanent and temporary job vacancies.

Feedback from employers recruiting at the Jobsfair indicated that the event provided them with major support to help them meet their recruitment /staffing needs in the busy run up to Christmas.

Employers attending this years Jobsfair include: Marks & Spencer, Argos, Curry's, Wilkinsons, R.M.B.C., NHS Trust, Blue Arrow, All In One Garden Centre, B & Q, Boots, Express Gifts, Next Distribution, Zen Internet and many more.

Rochdale Jobsfair is being organised by Employment Links in partnership with Job Centre Plus at Rochdale Town Hall on Wednesday, 7 September from 11.00am – 3.00pm.
