JD Gyms opens in Rochdale

The new ‘JD Gyms Rochdale’ in The Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre has opened.

The fully air-conditioned gym includes more than 200 pieces of cardio, strength and functional fitness equipment, along with saunas, a sprint track, prowler track and free weights area.

A large studio and spin studio will play host to over 250 classes a month.

Alun Peacock, managing director of JD Gyms said: “We are delighted to have 'cut the ribbon' and declared JD Gyms Rochdale officially open.

"The feedback from our new members and the general public has been phenomenal, reinforcing that the area has been crying out for a gym of this calibre for some time.
