The team at Williams Rochdale Mini are celebrating a double award win at the recent BMW and ini Retailer Awards.

Out of 144 Mini retailers, the Gorrels Way-based centre was awarded ‘Mini Sales Champions 2015’ for selling the most new and used cars in the UK, along with recognition for its unrivalled servicing and superb customer service.

Mini brand manager Lee Griffiths was also acknowledged on the night as he was honoured ‘Mini Rookie of the Year’ due to his fantastic performance in all areas of the business in his first year as brand manager.

Lee, 35, from Holmfirth, boasts a wealth of experience in the motoring industry and has been with Williams Group for over five years. He said: “The team and I are overjoyed by the recognition Williams Rochdale Mini has received. We all work extremely hard to provide exceptional customer service and to continually meet our sales targets.

“On a personal note, I am incredibly humbled to be chosen as Mini Rookie of the Year. My first 12 months in this role has been very exciting and I cannot wait to see what this next year brings.”

The awards were presented at the annual BMW, Mini and Motorrad Conference by Rob Brydon at the newly opened O2 Continental Hotel, London.

Jason Almond, franchise director at Williams Group, commented: “To be honoured with these two awards is an incredible achievement for Williams Rochdale Mini. Lee and his team should be very proud of what they have accomplished.”
