Flooding on The Butts at La Mancha
La Mancha tapas bar and restaurant is to reopen its doors to the public on Friday 5 February.
The town centre Spanish-themed bar and restaurant was left in ruins after the Boxing Day floods, but after a lot of hard work La Mancha is "back in business".
Restaurant Manager Barbara Fearnley has invited Rochdale Online News readers to an opening party, to share a glass of bubbly and help celebrate the re-opening, on the afternoon on the 5 February.
Barbara said: “It has been an absolute nightmare, but it’s almost over now. Money has been tight with all the repairs, we would like to at least invite everyone down to share a glass of bubbly with us during the afternoon.
“We have an artist in at the moment doing up all the walls. It’s going to look quite different to before. It has been really hard work but it is finally paying off, and we are excited about being back in business.”
