Rochdale Borough Design Awards 2010

This is the new Heywood Joint Service Centre built on the site of the old Hind Hill Centre. The development seeks to recognise the importance of the site in the urban fabric of the area and provide a building of high design quality, and the disposition of the building on the allocated site has created the opportunity for carefully planned landscaped areas, developing the high quality public amenity space which already exists.
