I am proud to say that I have lived in Central Rochdale my whole life. I attended Falinge High School and then went on to Huddersfield University to study law. I am now a solicitor.
I live on Industry Street with my wife and three children, who all attend Shawclough Primary School. Over the last few weeks it has been a pleasure talking to so many of you on the doorstep and I just want to thank you for the warm reception. Standing for the Liberal Democrats at this May’s local elections is a great honour for me. I know how much hard work our current Mayor, Cllr Zulf Ali, puts in and I hope to be able to work alongside him over the next few years. The Lib Dems have put a lot of investment into our area such as the alleygating scheme and the new Leisure Centre and I want to see this continue.
