Kells ARLFC 12 - 29 Rochdale Hornets

Hornets saw off Kells in a scrappy game in Whitehaven to progress to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup.
Kells opened the scoring with a try from Tyrone Dalton, converted by Ross Gainford.
Hornets levelled when Tony Suffolk went over the line and Paul Crook converted.
A James Dandy try , converted by Crook gave Hornets the lead at half time.

The second half started similar to the first with a Kells try - Daniel Joyce going over and Ross Gainford adding the two to put Kells level.
Dale Bloomfield put Hornets back in front. For once Crook's trusty boot let him down.
Bloomfield subsequently went off injured and off to hospital for a check up but was allowed to travel home with the team after being given the all clear.
Hornets put the game beyond any doubt in the last ten minutes when Gaz Langley crossed the line and Crook found his range again.
With minutes left to play Danny Yates dropped a goal and there was still just enough time for Jordan Case to get on the score sheet with the final try of the game. Crook adding the extras.
